SAN ROQUE, Bolivia -- A group of 22 foreign tourists trapped for about two weeks in a remote Andean valley by farmers demanding delivery of government tractors, were safely on their way to the Bolivian capital La Paz on Thursday. A government bus reached the Sorata valley, a region of Indian villages and lush vegetation about 92 miles (148 km) northeast of La Paz, where the tourists were caught behind the roadblocks after farmers suspended the blockades. "We are all doing well, with no problems," Edward Kramer, a German tourist, told Reuters aboard the bus en route to La Paz. "We were treated very well, fed well and we stayed in a hotel."
