MJF Renders Services to 250,790 in 2002
He told reporters that 180 billion rials have been allocated to underprivileged people in 2001 and 2002 and expressed hope that the amount would be increased next year.
He said that 70 percent of that amount funded support services such as employment, education, marriage, housing and sanitation.
Rouzbahani underlined that the activities of the MJF differ from those of the Imam Khomeini Relief Committee. He said that after the Leader visits a deprived province, a special delegation of the MJF is appointed to follow up the case and that this is one of the main activities of the MJF.
The MJF provides services to disabled war veterans within the framework of the Imam Ali (AS) Plan.
In conclusion, he said that the MJF is responsible for monitoring the distribution of services within the country.
