Shomen Tsuki Technique

Part 48 In a standing position, if a rival opens his legs wide then he is not able to transfer his body's weight from one leg to another. In such a case, Shomen Tsuki technique helps you take optimal advantage and throw your opponent.

For instance, both the opponent and you are in a right standing position. First of all, you have to pull him with both hands leftward, forcing him to take a stride forward unusual and bigger than expected. Now, it is time for spoiling his balance with your right hand and by putting his left shoulder under great pressure. The next step is to hit his left side of his chest with the right part of your chest immediately and then push him backward with your right hand and trip him with your left leg moving in a curve direction. If done appropriately, the rival is thrown on the mat. Two points are very important in this regard. 1- You have to trip your rival's left leg when approximately it is tolerating half of his weight. 2- The stumble does not work when the opponent transfers his weight from his left leg to the right one.
