TEHRAN -- An eight-member delegation of Malaysian researchers has left Kuala Lumpur for Tehran to attend the Second Iran-Malaysia Joint Round table being held at the Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS).
The executive director of the Malaysian Institute for International and Strategic Studies, Dr. Nouruddin Soufi, heads the delegation.
The delegation consists of representatives from the Malaysia prime minister's office and the ministries of culture and tourism, international commerce and industries.
The most important regional and international issues as well as Tehran-Kuala Lumpur bilateral relations will be discussed during the joint round table.
At the first Iran-Malaysia Joint Roundtable, which was held in Kuala Lumpur last year, an agreement was signed between the two countries' institutes on scientific and research cooperation for a period of four years.
