BISHKEK -- The center for studies of Islam and Iran at Bishkek Humanities University opened here Monday at the presence of President Seyed Mohammad Khatami and his Kyrgyz counterpart Askar Akayev.

Rector to Bishkek Humanities University (BHU), Professor Ishengul S. Boljurova addressing the opening ceremony of BHU center for studies of Islam and Iran, referred to the implementation of the new center as a step taken towards optimizing the education and training of the youth.
