TEHRAN -- First meeting of drug campaign was between Iran and Italy was held on Saturday in Rome.

Iran and Italy singed a cooperation agreement for fighting with drugs.

In the meeting that Head of Iranian Anti-Narcotics Headquarters Mohammad Fallah and Italian officials presented, the two sides stressed need to fight against drugs among responsible organizations.

Italy said that it is ready to send technical assistance and experts to Iran in order to improve Iran's equipment for fighting with drugs, voiced Italy's readiness to cooperate with Iran in its drug campaign.

Second meeting of drug trafficking will held in Tehran soon, in the meeting announced.
