TEHRAN -- Since the continuation of the presence of Taleban forces in Afghanistan is unacceptable, Iran, Russia and India will forge a trilateral program to cooperate with regard to Afghanistan, Russia's deputy foreign minister said in New Delhi.

According to IRNA, Viachaslava Trubinkov added that the content of this plan has been discussed with the Indian officials who have expressed their support for it.

Speaking to the reporters in New Delhi, he said on Thursday that the triangular structure has not been officially announced yet, adding, he will discuss it with the Iranian officials after his visit to India. The move does not mean an extension of the international coalition against terrorism, he said, "We do not want an independent role for ourselves, rather, we are after our own interests."

The three countries used to cooperate against terrorism before the international coalition was formed, he said, adding, they also had close cooperation with the Northern Alliance.

We indeed broke the backbone of the Taleban through this cooperation, he said, adding that the success of Loya Jirga was an outcome of our cooperation.
