TEHRAN — The Third International Seminar of “Pole 2006” opened on Saturday in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia.

Over 150 businessmen and trade representatives of the governmental organs, chambers of commerce and crafts unions from Iran, Armenia, Russia, Germany, and Ukraine have participated in the seminar.

The opportunities required for the integrated economic environment, the transportation issues, bank affairs, and agriculture sector are among the topics evaluated at the seminar.

The prospect of Armenia’s accession to the European Union as well as the expansion of the country’s economic sectors is other subjects discussed at the event.
