TEHRAN -- The student organization, Office to Foster Unity (OFU), in a letter sent Monday to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, pledged to follow his advice to defend the country against foreign plots.

The letter, issued in the course of the OFU's tenth annual camp in the northern province of Mazandaran, noted the Leader's concerns in his letter sent to the group, and voiced appreciation for his 'wise' advice to the students.

They said the Leader's letter had strengthened their morale and had encouraged them to push ahead with the cause of the (Iranian) Revolution. They said they had seen traces of the character of the late founder of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomenini, in the letter.

"At a time when the enemies are dying to find the opportunity to undermine the authority of the Islamic system, the need to exercise vigilance and prudence in the face of enemy plots by the public is greater than ever before," read part of the OFU letter.

The students further vowed to continue in the struggle to thwart enemy threats following the Leader's guidance and to inform the Iranian people of the need and importance of maintaining a conscious defense to foil ploys hatched by enemies of the country.
