Chabahar Monsoon Festival Promoted by Attendance of Renowned

TEHRAN -- The Manager of Chabahar Free Trade Zone's Public and International Affairs Ofice, Mojtaba Jabal-Amely, said that the annual summer festival of Free Trade Zone has received welcome promotion this year by the attendance of some famous Television and cinema personalities.

The festival, called "Monsoon", aims to further attract tourists to the FTZ, and Jabal-Amely said that Iranian actors and artists attending the festival were warmly received by the audience.

Reza Kianian, Amin Tarokh, Arjang Amir-Afzali, and Adel Ferdosipour were among those attending the festival, who in addition to mingling with tourists also attended a gathering at the Milad Cultural and Artistic Center of Chabahar to expound on their ideas and views on art and the art world. Many were mesmerized by the natural beauty of the region and shared some of their memories with the audience.

The actor of the films ** Love + 2 ** and ** Sara**, Amin Tarokh, described the tourist attractions of Chabahar "unique", and announced his readiness to help expand cultural and artistic programs of the region.

He also answered questions posed by the audience about cinema, theater, and acting.

He further said that he had spent a period of his childhood in Chabahar and considered himself an honorary citizen of the city. Also, a prominent Television sports broadcaster, Adel Ferdosipour, answering sports-related questions of the youth and other tourists, expressed pleasure at traveling to Chabahar and called the rocky and ocean-like beach of Chabahar "One of the worthiest sightseeing spots of Iran."

The Summer Festival of Chabahar will continue until September 22.
