TEHRAN -- The documentary film Dervish of Metals directed by Mahmoud Yar-Mohammadloo and produced by Experimental Film Center was awarded two prizes in the Hungarian Szolnok Aesthetics International Film Festival held on October 1-6.

365 documentary, experimental and animation films participated in the festival from 33 countries from which, the Iranian documentary Dervish of Metals was awarded the first Jury prize in a competition with 34 other films in the Documentaries on Art section.

Moreover, the film was awarded the prize of the "Students of Cinema" in the closing ceremony of the festival.

The documentary depicts the artistic life of the Iranian master of metal engraving Ali Zarif-Esfahani.
