BELGRADE -- Macedonia's Finance Minister Peter Gushov conferring with Iran's Charge D'affaires Abdolmajid Mozaffari in Skopia on Wednesday called for broadening of Skopia-Tehran economic ties.

At the meeting, Peter Gushov referred to the current potentials for expansion of economic and trade ties between the two states and said that Skopia is prepared to provide the required grounds to this effect, reported IRNA.

He added, "Considering the measures taken by Macedonia's new government to attract foreign investment, Skopia is ready to contribute to providing the necessary grounds for further participation of Iran's economic sector in Macedonia's market.

In the meeting, Iran's charge d'affaires in Macedonia pointing to the numerous economic agreements signed between the two states such as the one on banning double taxation and those concerning mutual economic and trade cooperation, assessed the current situation quite favorable for broadening of bilateral economic relations.
