TEHRAN -- "Afforestation and revival of destroyed forests consider our main liabilities that presently preparation is underway for revival of natural resources of this land for plantation 250,000 stalks of sapling," said the above statement in an interview, Eng. Hossein Alizadeh the head of Shaft's Department of Natural Resources.

He added that afforestation operations was carried out for about 70 ha of land last year and pointed out this figure has shown increasing afforestation 100 ha of land during the current Iranian year (Started March 21). He further noted that Natural Resources Department of the city has taken drastic measures for encountering with offenders in this respect.
