MILWAUKEE -- Kevin Garnett scored 34 points, had 12 rebounds and eight assists as the Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 117-114 in the NBA Monday.

Garnett now has a NBA best 47 double-doubles this season.

Wally Szczerbiak scored 26 points for Minnesota, including going 12-for-12 from the foul line.

Garnett and Szczerbiak accounted for 13 of Minnesota's last 16 points.

Minnesota has won eight consecutive games against Milwaukee and has set a franchise record for wins in February with 10, Reuters reported.

Gary Payton had 21 points and nine assists in his home debut with the Bucks. Michael Redd added 19 points for Milwaukee while Sam Cassell grabbed 18 points and seven assists.
