DAMASCUS -- Syria prepared Friday to host U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell amid mounting U.S. pressure to end its support for some resistance groups which U.S. shamefully call them terrorists, keeping open the door open for dialogue but making clear it would not compromise on certain issues.
