TEHRAN -- President Mohammad Khatami met with the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ali Khamenei here Sunday.

Winding up his four-nation tour, Khatami called on the Leader to give a report on his visits to Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, and Bahrain.

The Leader expressed satisfaction with the great achievements of President Khatami's tour and his wise remarks on the Islamic Republic's policies and stances, IRNA reported.

The Leader appreciated the four nations, particularly the Lebanese people for their interest in the Islamic Republic and the warm welcome they accorded to the Iranian delegation.
