Zionist Tail Wagging U.S. Dog on Iran's Nuclear Activities

June 11, 2003 - 0:0
There is no doubt that the recent report by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) stating that Iran has violated the Safeguards Agreement of the agency was influenced by Washington. IAEA inspectors visited Iranian nuclear facilities last February and confirmed that Iran's nuclear activities observe international standards.

It seems that this time the White House hawks need to start a new disinformation campaign to cover up their political failure in dealing with such issues as the Palestinian crisis, the North Korean nuclear arsenal, as well as the Iraqi and Afghan campaigns.

This propaganda is engineered by the Zionist lobby, and it definitely pursues certain goals.

One goal is to enable the Zionist regime and the United States to impose the so-called "road map" peace plan on the Palestinian nation. In fact, the current visit to Moscow by Israeli Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom and his talks with Russian officials are meant to increase pressure on the Islamic Republic. However, the propaganda about Iran's nuclear program, which is a regular topic of debate when U.S. and Zionist leaders meet with other countries' officials, is only a pretext.

Meanwhile, U.S. Undersecretary of State John Bolton, in an unexpected visit to Israel met Ephraim Halevy, the national security advisor to the Israeli prime minister, and Gideon Frank, the director-general of Israel's Atomic Energy Commission.

Analysts believe that the visit was within the framework of U.S.-Israeli joint efforts to surround the Islamic Republic and to apply pressure on Russia to discontinue its nuclear cooperation with Iran.

It is obvious that Israel cannot comment on the nuclear activities of other countries from the legal point of view because the international community regards it as a rouge nuclear power for failing to join the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and producing over 250 nuclear warheads.

Besides, Israel also spends several billion dollars every year upgrading its nuclear arsenal, thus jeopardizing the security of many Muslim nations including Sudan, Syria, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Therefore, it is the duty of the IAEA and the UN to pressure Israel to join the NPT in order to show their goodwill and to prove that they are not following a double standard. The Islamic Republic, is currently being unjustly pressured by the U.S. and Israel, although it has a right to use nuclear technology, which is the natural right of every country. Iran has violated none of the international protocols on weapons of mass destruction, whereas the Zionist regime is not even a signatory to the NPT and the U.S. is subsidizing the Zionist military machine to the tune of several billion dollars a year. This is another example of the Zionist tail wagging the U.S. dog.
