Iran's Parliamentary Delegation Arrives in Damascus

DAMASCUS (IRNA) -- An Iranian parliamentary delegation arrived here Friday for a four-day visit.

The delegation which is led by the head of 'commission for national security and foreign policy' in Iranian Majlis Mohsen Mirdamadi is here upon the invitation of the head of Syrian parliament's foreign relations commission.

The delegation is scheduled to meet with senior political and parliamentary figures of Syria and discuss the issues of bilateral interest including world and regional developments specially those of Iraq and Palestine.

During the meetings, the delegation will explore ways of promoting mutual relations in political and parliamentarian fields as well.
