Prophet Muhammad (S) Poetry Congress receives 950 works
The organizers of the program are the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), and Khorasan Razavi Culture and Islamic Guidance Department and Poetry Union, Hamidreza Arbab-Soleimani added.
According to the official, poets from Norway, Britain, Sudan, Turkey, India, Kuwait, Tajikistan, and some other countries have expressed their readiness to participate in the event which aims to provide a chance for committed Muslim poets to come together.
Referring to the long history of works on Prophet Muhammad (S) by great Iranian poets like Hafez, Sa’di, Ferdowsi, and Attar, Arbab-Soleimani added that such events will help familiarize the youth with the Prophet’s (S) personality.
There are also plans to hold expert-level round-table discussions and lectures, to discuss the biography of panegyrists, and to publish two poetry books, he stated.
