TEHRAN - Saudi Arabian King Abdullah will visit Bahrain on Thursday in order to support the brutal suppression of the popular uprising in Bahrain.

The Saudi king is scheduled to meet Bahraini King Hamad and the premier and crown prince of Bahrain, the Saudi electronic newspaper Elaph reported, quoting informed sources.
He will be accompanied by a high-level delegation, including Interior Minister Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al Faisal, according to the Elaph report.
Meanwhile, Grand Ayatollah Moslem Malakouti issued a message in Qom on Sunday, saying the Al Khalifa royal family of Bahrain and the Al Saud royal family of Saudi Arabia are a shame for humanity because of their approval of the desecration of the Holy Quran and the destruction of mosques in Bahrain, the ABNA news agency reported.
In his message, Grand Ayatollah Malakouti condemned the crackdown in Bahrain, saying “What has happened to the Muslims in the region through the leadership of the United States and its Western allies is a shame for the history of humanity.”
A nation in poverty and misery seeks to live in a dignified way, but it is suddenly invaded, at the request of the brutal puppet rulers of the country, Grand Ayatollah Malakouti said.
He also expressed regret over the massacres of the people of Bahrain, both Shia and Sunni, and condemned the Al Khalifa and Al Saud royal families for offending the religious beliefs of the people, burning the Quran, and destroying mosques.
The Al Khalifa and Al Saud royal families are following in the footsteps of the old enemies of Islam, he said.
But the Al Saud royal family must be condemned more, he added.
