‘Resistance economy’ only way to overcome economic problems: cleric

TEHRAN – The leader of this week’s Friday prayers in Tehran has said that the creation of a “resistance economy” is the only way to deal with the economic problems facing the country.  
 
“The wave of economic problems caused by sanctions is transient,” Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati said, adding, “To deal with this issue, we need the resistance economy, and of course we should rely on God to continue on this path.”
