IRGC aerospace chief vows “painful” strikes on enemy strategic industries
TEHRAN-- Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Aerospace Force has said Iran’s retaliatory operations targeting U.S.-linked and Israeli strategic industries are underway, describing the attacks as “painful” and a response to attacks on Iran’s infrastructure.
In a social media post, Majid Mousavi outlined the continued retaliatory actions against targets associated with the United States in the region and those of the Zionist regime in occupied Palestine. He framed the operations as retribution for attacks on Iranian infrastructure, emphasizing the scale and impact of the strikes.
“Retribution for the aggression against Iran’s infrastructure is being carried out through the destruction of strategic industries linked to the American–Zionist enemy in the region,” the commander said.
“So far, the chemical industries of Ne'ot Hovav in the occupied territories, one refinery, two steel complexes, and two mega aluminum complexes have been destroyed, and these painful attacks will continue until we see the pain in your eyes,” the IRGC general told Israel and the U.S. in his social media post.
In a separate development, the Iranian Army, in a statement, announced that radar stations and the position of the U.S. military in the UAE have been struck by drones.
In its statement No. 48, the Army announced that the Iranian combat drones struck enemy radar stations in the UAE, which were responsible for detecting and tracking missiles and combat drones.
Iran's Army earlier announced that its drones targeted a storage facility containing U.S. military equipment and a camp housing its military forces at the al-Azraq military base in Jordan.
Al-Azraq was regarded as one of the most strategic military bases of the U.S. and its allies in the region.
