British Arms Sales Aimed at Boosting Zionist Forces Morale in Face of Intifada

Although there is rising criticism of Zionist crimes against oppressed Palestinians throughout the world, the British government intends to sell some sophisticated weapons to the Zionist regime to be used in suppression of defenseless Palestinians.

According to the Internet site Middle East Newsline, the British officials have announced that over 90 permits have so far been approved for the sale of weapons to the Zionist regime.

The officials further said that the permits for the sale of weapons were approved in the last quarter of 2000 and first half of 2001.

Among the weapons approved by Britain to be sold to the Zionist regime is the riot-control system, which is going to be used against Palestinians.

The fact is that the Zionist entity is already armed to the teeth by the pro-Zionist U.S. Administration. In other words, this regime has every weapon in its arsenal, and it has even deployed its tanks, helicopters and jet fighters against the innocent Palestinians. Thus, analysts believe that the sale of weapons by Britain to the Zionist regime is only aimed at boosting the morale of the Zionist forces in the face of the Intifada, or general uprising, of Palestinians in the occupied territories.
