TEHRAN Two new ferries will start operating in the Persian Gulf from September 30.

By adding the two ships to the Islamic Republic of Iran's Valfajr-8 Shipping Fleet the passenger capacity of the fleet will increase from 1868 to 2668.

The ships will travel from the port of Banar Lengeh to Kish Island and Bandar Abass-Sharjah.
