Industrial-Economic Iranian Delegation Arrives at Baku

BAKU -- An industrial-economic delegation from Iran's East Azarbaijan Province, led by the province's Governor General Mohammad Ali Sobhanollahi, arrived at Baku, the capital city of Azerbaijan Republic on Monday evening.

The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran at Baku announced that the delegation will tour the industrial as well as economic centers of Azerbaijan Republic during their four-day visit and talk to Azeri merchants and industrialists in order to boost the two countries' economic ties, IRNA reported.

Visiting Azerbaijan's Soumiqat industrial city and talking to the authorities of that country's commerce bureau, minister of economic development, and the Azeri head of the Joint Iran-Azerbaijan Economic Commission are among the programs arranged for the Iranian industrial-economic delegation in Azerbaijan.

Iran's East Azarbaijan Province has shared borders with the autonomous Nakhichevan Republic of the Azerbaijan Republic.
