    Iran’s Q1 hydropower output up 415% on year

    TEHRAN - The electricity output of Iran’s hydroelectric power plants exceeded 12,000 megawatts (MW) in the first three months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21-June 21), 415 percent more than the figure for last year’s same period, IRIB reported on Wednesday.

    ‘3000MW added to Iran’s power generation capacity since March’

    TEHRAN – Some 3000 megawatts (MW) capacity of new power plants have been added to the country’s electricity network in the current Iranian calendar year (started on March 21) to supply the demands in the summer peak period, IRNA reported on Tuesday quoting an official with the energy ministry.

    Tehran hosts specialized panel on energy Fintech

    TEHRAN – Iran Water and Power Resources Development Company (IWPCO) in collaboration with Research Institute for Energy Management and Planning (RIEMP) as well as Farab Construction Engineering Company hosted a specialized panel meeting on Tuesday to discuss energy Financial Technology (Fintech) in Iran and specifically Energy Credit Obligation (ECO).
