Mobarak Puppet Theater Festival opens with works dedicated to Gaza journalists, Minab children

TEHRAN- The 21st Tehran-Mobarak International Puppet Theater Festival officially opened in Tehran on Friday, bringing together artists and puppetry enthusiasts for an event highlighting the power of puppetry to address contemporary social and humanitarian issues.

The Day the Heavens Wept

One must feel Minab wholeheartedly. Here, the earth is warm, even in the dead of night. The soil of The South preserves warmth, like a mother embracing her child tightly, never letting go of her nestling. When morning arrives, the scent of salt arrives from the sea, the waft of ripened rutab from the palm groves, the aroma of fresh bread, baked in the Tanoor of earthen abodes. These redolences interweave and create something called “Minab”.  

A park in Tehran to be named after Shajareh Tayyebeh school

TEHRAN – In the memory of the students of Shajareh Tayyebeh school who were martyred during a U.S. missile attack on the first day of the imposed war on February 28, a park will be created in Tehran.
