TEHRAN (Mehr News Agency) –- Executive head of Berlin International Film Festival asked for wide participation of Iranian filmmakers at the feast due to be held in February in Berlin, Germany.

In a meeting with Iran’s Cultural attaché in Germany, Thomas Strock, added that the top selected films of the festival will compete at the 2004 Berlinale International Festival.

He further noted that the active filmmakers in the field of cinema, and film production can participate in the feast.

Being the 2nd festival, the event intends to choose the candidates for the 2004 Berlinale.
