Mausoleum of Timurid Historian Registered as National Heritage
There is no inscription or exact date on the tombstone of Hafez Abroo (Sheikh Shahabeddin Baba Abdal). The tomb of Sheikh is built on a square-shaped platform surrounded by brick grids. There are also several other graves in parallel with that of the Sheikh.
There is also a mosque on the northern part of the grave dating back to the Safavid era. Built of sun-dried bricks, the mosque has a central huge veranda with two small porches on both sides of the building.
At the end of the central veranda, two little doors open to the small porches. A mihrab (payer niche) with plaster works decoration is also located in the southern part of the veranda.
Florid patterns as well as inscriptions in various styles of calligraphy are among the decorations of the mihrab.
The mausoleum and the mosque enjoy a highly religious status among local residents.
