TEHRAN (Mehr News Agency) -- The book “Islam and the Muslim Nation” by Mahathir Mohammad is to be published in the Persian language in Iran.

Translated by Mohsen Pakaein, the book contains a total of 23 lectures delivered by Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohammad on the issues of globalization, the future of Muslim societies, religious interactions, Islamic issues, and the role of religions in society.

This is the first book by Mahathir Mohammad to be translated into Persian. He has always had very independent and realistic views and is considered to be one of Asia’s elder statesmen.
