Actress Nazari dies at 74

TEHRAN -- Iranian actress Maliheh Nazari died on Friday at the age of 74.
Born in 1931 in Tehran, she began her career with a role in the play “The Court of Sultan Abdul-Hamid” in 1962.
She also performed in several other plays including “Three Cups of Tea”, “Ghosts”, and “The Girl Gone Astray”.
She entered cinema in the film “Along the Night” in 1977.
She also stared in “Crow”, “The High Shadows of the Wind”, “Mare”, “Illusion”, “The Last Fly”, and several other movies.
Her last feature-length film was “A House Built on Water” directed by Bahman Farmanara.
She is to be buried at Behesht-e Zahra cemetery today.
