TEHRAN – Iran’s Physical Education Organization (PEO) Head Mohammad Aliabadi vowed in Birjand Wednesday that South Khorasan Province’s sports budget will be increased to maximum 60 billion rials (6.6 million dollars) by the yearend, March 20, 2007.
“We are doing our best to allocate more funds to provinces within a five-year plan and help them promote the sporting fields,” said the vice president.
Conditions of sports sectors in some provinces, including South Khorasan are not desirable, regretted the PEO chief, adding his organization is determined to find the reasons behind poor conditions and settle the problems.
