TEHRAN -- Orientalist Giorgi Lobzhanidze has finished the translation of the Holy Quran into Georgian for the first time, the Persian service of CHN reported here on Sunday.

It took Lobzhanidze, the head of the Center for Research of Islamic Culture in the Caucasus, 12 years to finish the job.

The book will be published by the Caucasian House in Tbilisi.
