TEHRAN (IRNA) -- Security in the Persian Gulf region without Iran is something meaningless, said Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Yahya Rahim-Safavi on Monday.
He made the remarks in an interview with the Islamic Republic (TV) News Network (IRNN). None of Iran's neighboring states in the Persian Gulf region are considered a threat to Iran, Rahim-Safavi said adding that "they (PG) neighboring states are friends of Iran."
