TEHRAN -- The secretary of the 2nd International Biennial of Posters in the Islamic World here Saturday predicted that the event will make a new approach to Iranian graphics.
The biennial will most likely provide a fresh, promising, and constructive atmosphere for promoting creative experiences as well as innovative ideas and designs, Habibollah Sadeqi added.
The graphics designers will display Muslims’ latest achievement and evolutions in the field, he said.
Sponsored by the Iranian Academy of Art, the biennial aims to bring together and examine posters designed across the Islamic world (in Islamic countries and among Muslim communities in non-Islamic countries).
Works will be judged in categories of the Great Prophet Muhammad (S), Society and Culture, Palestine, and Illustrious Figures of the Islamic World.
The event opens next Feb. at Saba Art and Culture Complex.
