New Zealand shares close 0.13% higher

WELLINGTON (AFP) -- New Zealand share prices closed 0.13 percent higher as technology company Rakon soared after a successful share placement in an otherwise quiet session, dealers said.

The benchmark NZX-50 index rose 5.27 points at 4,184.84 on turnover worth 105.74 million dollars (71.46 million U.S.).
