Qobadi’s “Half Moon” shares Amnesty International Award in Portugal

TEHRAN -- Bahman Qobadi’s “Half Moon” shared Amnesty International Award with South Korean “No Day Off” at the 4th Indielisboa Independent Film Festival in Portugal (April 19 to 29).
Indielisboa is a prestigious event in which the most recent and interesting work of independent cinema is gathered from all over the world.
The main aim of the festival is to discover new directors.
“El Amarillo” by Sergio Mazza, from Argentine and “Love Conquers All” by Tan Chui Mui, from Malaysia, won the grand prize “City of Lisbon”.
The Documentary “Forever”, by Heddy Honigmann, from The Netherlands, won the Johnnie Walker Audience Award.
