TEHRAN Majlis Speaker Hojjatoleslam Ali Akbar Nateq Nouri on Monday called on the Islamic Republic of Iran's Broadcasting (IRIB) to establish a direct spiritual link with the young audience. Addressing members of the IRIB Council for the youth from all provinces, Nateq Nouri said Islam has given special significance to the youth. The great prophet of Islam (AS) always stressed the importance of the youth and paid special attention to the young generation both in words and in deeds, Nateq Nouri said.

He recommended the radio and television to provide the youth with special programs to fill their leisure time and offer guidance to them on their everyday's life including marriage. Radio and television should introduce models for the youth in ethical and moral grounds, Nateq Nouri said. (IRNA)
