TEHRAN (Press TV) -- An Iranian court has arraigned popular Tehran team Persepolis defender, Sheis Rezaei, on the charge of making a plane crash hoax.

Some of the things this soccer player said caused the passengers onboard the plane to panic, Judiciary Spokesman Ali-Reza Jamshidi stated.
“I’m not happy about what happened, I was just trying to play a joke my teammates,” Rezaei told Fars news agency.
Persepolis has deducted 25% of Rezaei’s contract and suspended him for two matches.
“I will not comment on the fine because I’m extremely ashamed of what I did,” he added.
