Iranian wrestler Surian set to win gold

TEHRAN -- Iranian Greco-Roman wrestler Hamid Surian is set to win the 55 kilogram class on Tuesday in the Beijing Olympic competitions.
Iranian wrestler is favored to win the title while Georgian David Bedinadze is also likely to crown himself in the category.Surian has been dominant in the 55kg class, winning the gold medal at the last three world championships. The Beijing Olympics will be his chance to truly put a stamp on his amazing career.
One of the top wrestlers pushing Surian over the past few years has been Park Eun-chol of South Korea, who won two world silver medals and a bronze.
Other top contenders competing in Beijing are world silver medalist Rovshan Bayramov of Azerbaijan, bronze medalists Nazyr Mankiev of Russia and Serbian Kristijan Fris.
The world Greco-Roman wrestling champ from 2005 through 2007 has already stated, “I am going to win a gold medal in Olympics and hope my dream comes true in the event.
