TEHRAN (IRNA) -- Head of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, Alaeddin Borujerdi said on Tuesday that Bushehr nuclear power plant suffers some technical problems and it should become operational as soon as possible.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of Majlis formal session, he said that up to now there were some political problems on transfer of nuclear fuel which all have been removed.
""We hope the current technical problems to be removed as soon as possible,"" Boroujerdi said.
The Russian contractor has promised to commission Bushehr power plant by February 2009, he pointed out.
