Malawi, Peru’s ambassadors meet Mottaki

TEHRAN – In separate meetings here in Tehran, the new accredited ambassadors of Malawi and Peru submitted a copy of their credentials to Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki.

In the meeting with Mussa Jaffi, the Malawian ambassador to Tehran on Sunday, Mottaki expressed Iran’s readiness to cooperate with Malawi in the fields of energy, agriculture, transport, and building construction.
Jaffi, for his part, thanked Iran’s support for Malawi, calling for the Islamic Republic’s assistance in different fields to further bilateral cooperation.
In his meeting with Javier Paolonich, Peru's new ambassador to Tehran on Saturday, Mottaki underlined Iran's interest in expanding ties with Latin American countries.
For his part, Paolonich touched on the common objectives of Iran and Peru in the world and welcomed further cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran
