TEHRAN -– More than 1 million cars were produced in Iran in an 8 month period starting since the Iranian New Year (March 21).

The Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) reported that 1,034,787 vehicles were built in this period showing a 17.8 percent increase compared to the period last year.
The report stated that during the Iranian month of Aban (October 21 – November 21) 151,533 various kinds of vehicles were built which is 14.5 percent more than the year before
