TEHRAN – German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle was to arrive in Tehran on late Sunday to meet with the Iranian officials.

The German foreign minister is scheduled to hold talks with the Iranian officials on regional developments and bilateral ties.
It is speculated that Westerwelle will also talk about the release of the two German journalists who were arrested in October 2010 for trying to interview relatives of Sakineh Ashtiani, a woman convicted of adultery and murder, without having obtained journalistic credentials.
