Hamburg have fired coach Armin Veh following Saturday's 6-0 Bundesliga defeat against Bayern Munich.

Veh had been due to leave the club at the end of the season, but his exit was hastened by the thrashing.
""Hamburg SV have parted company with Armin Veh with immediate effect,"" the club said on their website.
Assistant coach Michael Oenning will take charge for the remaining eight games of the Bundesliga season, inheriting the reins at a club who are eighth in the table.
Veh, 50, who had been in charge for eight months, said last week he would quit at the end of this season.
