Iran gains its first victory in the FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Cup beating Tunisia 3-1(25-17, 21-25, 25-14, 25-20) at the Hamamatsu Arena on Wednesday.

Amir Ghafour top scored Iran with 24 points, while Marouen Garci led Tunisia with 21 points.
""It was a good match, but not our best volleyball. We needed this victory and we took it. We have to keep going for the other matches,” Iran captain Saeid Marouf told FIVB.org.
Iran, who has lost to Argentina 3-1 in its first match, will play Venezuela on Thursday.
The tournament is a qualification process for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The top two teams will qualify for the Olympics and join Brazil as it has already secured a berth as the host country.
