Iranian Official Hopes for Thaw in Pakistan Ties

ISLAMABAD Iran's Consul General in Lahore, Punjab province Hossein Abdollahi hoping for a thaw in Tehran-Islamabad relations, said the suspicion between the two countries is gradually going away. Islamabad-Based ''Pakistan'' daily in its Thursday edition quoted Abdollahi as saying although some suspicions has recently marred the two countries' relations, the ties will improve again. Pakistani officials have also underlined improvement of bilateral ties with Iran. (IRNA)
