TEHRAN – Iranian director Hossein Hejrat’s debut film “Maman Soori’s Case” will go on screen in the Short Film Corner at the 69th Cannes Film Festival, which will be held in the French city from May 11 to 22.

A production of the Northlands International – UAB Company in Vilnius, Lithuania, the movie tells the story of a middle-aged woman who provides home-cooked food for her customers in Tehran.

The Short Film Corner provides the creators of short films an opportunity to show their projects to a massive audience, pitch future projects, and hopefully make many important connections as well.
