TEHRAN - Iran’s Mahan Air will launch twice weekly Tehran–Shanghai service on board Airbus A310-300 aircraft from September 1.

The flights are scheduled for Mondays and Fridays, Mehr news agency reported.

According to the data received from Mahan, the airline’s destinations have increased to 17 foreign cities by adding this new route to China.

This is the 2nd Iranian carrier offering service to China, and Shanghai is the 3rd Chinese city to have direct nonstop service with the Iranian capital.
