TEHRAN – Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi said on Friday that Iran is self-sufficient in the production of all defense equipment including advanced missile systems. 

He also said that domestically manufactured military equipment enjoy highest international standards. 

In addition, he said the Defense Ministry plans to unveil new military equipment during the current Iranian calendar year, which ends on March 19, 2012.
